Quoi apporter?

What should I bring for diving in Guanacaste?

We have all you need to go diving. You only need to bring your dive certification.

Although students or technical divers might eventually need some extras, in 90% of cases, a valid dive ID card is all you'll need to come diving.

As a PADI Dive Resort we have at your service all it takes for great diving experiences, from high-quality diving gear (Mares, ScubaPro, Sherwood), breathing air-filling, fast and fully equipped dive boats... and an outstanding team of friendly dive masters, captains and instructors!

What dive certifications do SummerSalt accept?

In SummerSalt, it doesn't matter if you got certified with PADI, SSI, CMAS, NAUI or other formal dive organization. Here everybody is welcome!

If for some reason you have lost or forgotten your dive card, we can help you to check with PADI and even assist you on ordering a new card.

Can I bring my own diving gear?

Of course you can! You are more than welcome to bring your own equipment and we recommend you to do it if you can! ...Because in Costa Rica, rentals are usually charged separately, so you'll save a few dollars on rentals with other dive-shops ...and win attractive discounts when diving with Summer Salt

So especially if you are coming to Costa Rica exclusively to dive or you are planning to dive several times, we encourage you to bring your own gear.*

However, your equipment must be in excellent condition and pass our technical review. Otherwise for safety reasons, you'll need to select from our gear.

*We use int. tank-connections, so in case your gear have a DIN first stage, don't forget to bring your adapter.
